The brawny hero
Hercules was an ancient mythical hero, considered as the greatest of the Greek heroes. Born in Thiva, the son of Zeus and Alcmene, a descedant of Perseus. As part of his labors, Hercules killed the Nemeon lion, killed the Hydra, caught the fast deer Kyrenia, killed Erymanthian Boar, cleaned the stables of Augeas, killed the Stymphalian Hens, caught the wild bull of Crete, stole wild horses of Diomedes, got the belt of Hippolyte, brought oxen of Geryon to Eurystheus, grabbed the apples of the Hesperides and finally brought Cerberus from Hades.
